The Enteprise architect will be in charge of helping projects define their Solution Architecture. You will be focused on the Operations & Credit functional domain, supporting Core Banking and Credit application teams. You will act as a facilitator between the central Architecture team and your Domain.
Role and Responsibilities
Contribute to solution architecture on the main projects of his Domain by:
- Supporting Domain teams for the definition of solutions during solution ideation, design, and implementation
- Ensuring the alignment of projects with our architecture principles, IT standards, and the target architecture of his Domain
Support project managers and tech leads along the architecture validation process by:
- Leading the building of a consistent architecture documentation
- Being the reference within the Domain team for architecture process (S&A SPoC)
- Supporting the architecture process till the go-live
- Bringing architecture awareness to application teams
Define the target architecture of his Domain by:
- Driving the design of a target functional, applicative and technical architecture within the Domain (Domain blueprint). This includes SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threads) of his Domain.
- Managing regular review and adaptation of the Domain blueprint
- Driving the Division application portfolio review committee
Maintain the architecture reference documentation all along the changes brought by projects:
- IT system diagrams (Domain level, or per sub-block)
- Application referential (with the help of Asset Owners)
- Domain principles and related non-conformities and remediation plans
- Obsolescence KPIs
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in IT either as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Tech Lead or Developer (or a mix)
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Broad technical knowledge and experience across application, development frameworks, technology
- Understanding of the Enterprise Architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices (TOGAF etc.)
- Experience in modeling activities (application maps, software design models, data modeling, infrastructure diagrams, etc.)
- Experience running Request for Proposal and assessing solutions
- Strong analysis skills with problem solving attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively in written documents and oral presentations, explaining concepts clearly to audiences at various levels of technical knowledge
- Effective leadership, planning and organization skills
- Interest in business strategy and alignment of Information System with this strategy
- Experience in Financial & Banking industry
