FX Spot Trader

This role will require the role holder to hold mandatory registrations with the Monetary Authority of Singapore
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.

G10 Linear FX Trading is a global business which provides liquidity & content 24 houra a day to FX sales, and FX corporate sales in most G10 currencies. Trading teams operate out of three centres: New York, London and Singapore. There are also capabilities to trade EM deliverable currencies.
The primary function is as a market maker for G10 FX Spot.

What will you be doing?

Youi will be responsible for the market making of G10 FX Spot currencies through monetisation of bid/offer, proactive risk management and attracting cutomer deal flow
You will be responsible for execution of trades with all sales areas
Responsible for engagaing clients and sending useful information to sales teams
General desk support (incl. working with Product Control, Compliance, Legal and other infrastructure areas)


What we're looking for:

Bachelors Degree
Must be proficient in pricing & liquidity management
Must be comfortable in a high volume flow trading environment
Proven record of trading experience within Fixed Income or Macro Trading

Skills that will help you in the role:

Expert in G10 FX spot market making & liquidity management
Strong knowledge of individual currency regimes, local markets, regulations
Client driven and Team player with great upside potential
Strong analytical, communication and adaptive skill set
