Start your career with Bank of Singapore as a Finance Specialist, Tax Reporting (AVP) in the Financial Management team ! !

The incumbent will be supporting the Team Lead for country oversight and tax reporting.

Main Duties

• Provide support to overseas finance teams on queries

• Involvement in audit processes and coordinate with team leads in finance for audit-related matters including preparation and provision of information, coordinate response to queries and support overseas audits where required.

• Preparation of financial statements

• Assist with financial close process on an end-to-end across financial, capital and tax related reporting.

• Analysis of financial information in the various tax, financial and regulatory reports.

• Facilitate continuous improvements to current policies, procedures, and processes.

• Participating in projects, systems implementation and enhancements.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting; Familiar with IFRS/SFRS.

• Preferably 10 years of experience in working in a Finance or similar function in a bank or financial institution

• Strong experience in managing a team.

• Strong self-starter, pro-active and team player.

• Good analytical/communication skills and problem-solving ability.

• Must be able to work well under tight deadlines, handle multiple responsibilities and deliver results.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel, and Access) with experience in dealing with large datasets. Globus knowledge will be an advantage.
