Global Partner Sales Director (APAC)
My client is a leading Telco & Cloud software and services business that is growing their Global Partners Sales Team to position existing and build new partner solutions to solve customer business needs!

The client is looking for someone capable of building trusted partner relationships with major GSIs and in particular cloud hyperscalers like Google, Microsoft, and AWS. The positions would be centered around solutions sold to Telecoms Service Providers in APAC (Telco Cloud, Inventory, Orchestration, Cloud Transformation, Service Assurance, OSS, Charging etc).

Role Description
This Sales Director will understand customer needs and opportunities and then can map
these into defined joint partner offerings. Do you have deep understanding of the
partner play and commercial models? You'll use your strong technical, influential and
communications skills to evangelize existing partnerships and as well as create new
offerings. You will need to be comfortable guiding discussions to multiple facets of the
decision-making chain.

Responsible for APAC region, this role would report to the SVP of Networks and Cloud Partner Strategy.

Key responsibilities
• Understand the Telco Networks market trends and customer challenges and how
our joint partner offers can create opportunity, pipeline, and wins vs. the
competition. Other activities include competitive analysis, early validation
activities, and retrospective win/loss analysis.
• Collaborate with C-Level executives internally and externally to establish
trusted advisor relationships.
• Promote partner offerings
• Work closely with Partner Account teams running joint account pursuit cadence.
• Drive pipeline generation with the Region Network Sales leads.
• Define market opportunity, target/addressable markets, quantifying the value,
GTM considerations, and supporting pricing strategy with product pricing
models.
• Work with the Head of Network Partner Strategy and the Network Solutions
team to translate market knowledge, product strategy, and cases into a
successful partner ecosystem plan.

All you need is
• Extensive experience delivering successful software solutions in a telecom sales
or pre-sales role or similar role having deep expertise in the telecom industry,
solution design, end-to-end network architecture and products and services.
• Successful experience working with Hyperscalers as partners.
• Successful experience in leading new initiatives, understanding groundbreaking
telecom technology, being an entrepreneurial problem solver and having strong
networking skills.
• Shown success driving pipeline development with Partner Sales teams.
• Experience in working with multiple third parties to define, develop and
commercialize portfolio of product solutions to solve specific customer struggles
that are repeatable and scalable.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or advanced degree.
• Ability to travel at least 50%.
