Our client is a leading proprietary trading firm with a strong track record in the region. They adopt advanced technology in their trading strategies and cover multi-asset classes across various markets. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking for HFT Proprietary Trader / Portfolio Manager, based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute High Frequency Trading strategies to generate profits for the firm
Manage and optimize algorithms and quantitative trading strategies to identify and capture alpha / market opportunities
Work with research, technology, trading team to develop and refine trading strategies according to the market environment
Keep track on the market conditions to adjust trading strategies so to attain the optimal results
Monitor the trading performance, balance the risk and returns
Ensure the trading activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and risk criteria

Key requirements:

At least three years of experience in high-frequency trading or portfolio management
Proven track record in generating positive returns of trading/investment portfolios
Strong experience in algorithms trading or quantitative trading strategies
Strong financial product knowledge such as equities, bonds, derivatives, commodities etc
Deep knowledge of financial markets across different regions
Strong analytical, quantitative and communications skills
High adaptability to work in a fast pace environment
