We are looking for a passionate and driven HR Manager. As the intermediary person between Business and Human Resource, you will drive HR initiatives that support the business in achieving business goals. The role reports to Head HR and Admin.
Functional Responsibilities:
Workforce Planning & Management
- Work with Head HR and Head Finance in preparing the HR headcount and budget for the year
- Responsible for the governance of manpower set out by the approved budget and provide the approved justifications for exceptions when required.
- Keep a track on monthly HR OPEX and ensure it is within the budget
- Assist with the end to end recruitment of Senior hires
- Assist line managers in defining the position requirements and core competency requirements for the position.
- Assist and guide Managers/new employees on performance Management review via Work Day
Staff Engagement & Welfare
- Ideation and implementation of staff engagement activities on periodic basis, to create a positive and engaging work culture
- Manage Bank’s Linkedin Page to showcase life at HL Bank in a positive manner
- Do the check-ins with new/existing employees to understand the pulse and gather the required feedback, to implement necessary changes
- Conduct Exit interviews
- Initiate pulse surveys, administer annual employee surveys and work with the Head HR with implementation of feedback
- Guide the line manager in the successor/talent selection process and on managing career development methodologies.
Compensation Management
- To conduct annual review and assessment of salary scales using benchmarking data available
- Assist with the review of annual Increment and Bonus exercise including preparing of relevant data sheets, analysis and audit of the final sheet
- Reviewer of Annual Income Tax prepared by the payroll vendor
- Final reviewer of monthly payroll sheet which is sent to payroll vendor for processing
- Reviewer for all Surveys that are submitted to government or MAS on a periodic basis
Learning & Development
- Conduct the Training need analysis along with HODs on an annual basis and prepare a yearly training calendar
- To source for relevant training courses / programs for Registered Representative (RNF holder) & Non-registered representative to ensure completion of the yearly CPD / KRA hours requirement.
- Maintaining Training records and reports through Workday
- Responsible for conducting new staff orientation programme
- Reviewer/Checker for training grant submission to IBF or any other providers on periodic basis
General Administration and General Services
- Guide the junior HR team members on day to day HR matters, as and when required
- Assist with any general administration functions, as required or when assigned by the head of department
Requirements and skills
- Degree in Human Resources or related field. Preference may be given to IHRP CP certified professionals
- 8-10 years of work experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner, preferably in Banking
- Working knowledge and experience of Workday HR system is essential
- Excellent communication, active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel skills to manage various HR reports and data analytics
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices with a data driven approach
