We are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a Western agriculture company as they continue their business expansion journey across Asia. Established almost 200 years ago, this company is known for their rich history of innovation and growth - and is today one of the largest food ingredients suppliers in the world. They are currently seeking a HR Manager (Asia) to join them as they further their expansion plans across the region. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Singapore.
Role
You will lead a team of 3 HR Executives based across Asia (including Singapore) to develop & implement regional HR policies customized to each country's cultural context and compliant with local legal requirements. You will also serve as a strategic HR advisor to the regional leadership team in areas such as workforce planning, talent management, and total rewards.
In the context of supporting the firm's growth strategy, workforce planning would entail your involvement in analyzing the firm's future talent needs and developing strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent. Naturally, as part of the process in addressing these talent gaps, you will also lead your team through second-order details such as recruiting, training, and succession planning. Some exposure to Total Rewards in the areas of job evaluation and salary benchmarking would hence also be highly advantageous. If you are well-versed across the HR spectrum and looking to apply your skills in a more strategic position - this may just be the role for you!
Requirements
You should possess at least 8 years of full spectrum HR experience and must also have a demonstrable track record of advising business leaders on talent planning and/or workforce development. Prior experience in a Western-headquartered MNC would be highly desirable. You should also be an excellent communicator and possess some understanding of regional HR practices in Southeast Asia (outside of Singapore).
To Apply
Please write in with an updated CV to Timothy Yong at ti@kerryconsulting.com quoting the above job title. Do consider also including a brief 2-3 bullet points summarizing your experience advising the business on identifying and addressing talent gaps. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
