Job Description:
Identify and Evaluate Opportunities:
- Assess potential investment opportunities on a local and global scale, particularly within the ASEAN region, with a focus on the F&B sector and other potential sectors.
Comprehensive Investment Strategy:
- Formulate comprehensive investment strategies aligning with the company's growth objectives in the F&B industry and other identified sectors.
Collaboration and Strategy Refinement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine growth strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
Financial Modeling and Due Diligence:
- Conduct financial modeling and due diligence for acquisitions, presenting detailed financial analyses to key stakeholders.
Contingency Planning:
- Develop contingency plans and strategies to address unforeseen challenges, market disruptions, or adverse events affecting the company's investments and M&A activities.
Ethical Governance:
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and prioritize a governance-first mindset.
Deal Process Leadership:
- Lead the entire deal process, from initiating contact and discussions to negotiations and successful deal execution.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, and external advisors, to facilitate successful acquisitions.
Post-Acquisition Integration:
- Take charge of post-acquisition integration processes to ensure seamless transitions and the achievement of strategic objectives.
Progress Reporting:
- Regularly provide progress reports to the executive team and board of directors.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in a related field from a reputable university.
- Possess 10-15 years of combined experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Private Equity, with a focus on the F&B portfolio.
- Demonstrate a track record of successfully executing M&A transactions, encompassing deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiations, and post-acquisition integration, particularly within the F&B sector.
- Have a solid background in strategic planning and financial analysis within the F&B sector.
- Exhibit proven analytical, conceptual, and strategic skills, with the ability to anticipate market potential and develop growth strategies.
- Display strong business acumen, excellent sales, and negotiation skills.
- Bring experience in project and people management, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
