About Our Client
Our client is a renowned family office committed to strategic investments and growth especially within the Food & Beverage industry. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Corporate Development to lead their M&A initiatives and drive the expansion of their F&B, real estate and travel portfolio.


Job Description

• Lead the identification and assessment of potential acquisition targets aligned with the investment strategy and growth objectives of the family office.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to evaluate opportunities for investment and expansion, especially within the F&B industry, but also in related sectors like real estate and travel.
• Develop and present detailed investment proposals, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic fit analysis, to the executive team and stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations, structuring, and execution of M&A transactions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless execution of deals.
• Foster and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, investment banks, advisors and key influencers to source potential deals and stay updated on market trends.
• Monitor and analyse industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market developments to identify new opportunities for investment and growth.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of successful M&A transactions within the Food & Beverage industry, preferably within a private equity, investment banking or corporate development setting.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with proficiency in analysing complex financial data and performing due diligence.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of driving initiatives independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
