Head of Private Banking, Singapore

Position Overview:

As the Head of Private Banking, you will lead a dynamic team in Singapore, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our private banking division. This unique opportunity requires an individual who can not only double the team's headcount and significantly increase annual revenue and assets under management (AUM) but also lead the team to grow the business through proactive acquisition and retention of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients within the offshore Greater China market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing team to drive proactive acquisition and retention of HNW/UHNW clients in the Greater China market.
• Implement a geographical-focused strategy aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Develop a profound understanding of clients' investment needs and collaborate with Investment Counsellors and Product Specialists to provide sound financial advice.
• Act as a strong advisor, guiding clients in their wealth journeys and continuously strengthening client relationships.
• Ensure strict compliance with the bank's and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 20 years of experience in private banking or a related field.
• Proven track record of surpassing revenue targets and building successful client relationships.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication in the Greater China market.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial landscape in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advisory skills.
• Commitment to ensuring compliance with the bank's policies and regulatory requirements.
