Key functions include:
  • Act as a Transaction Manager in the Issuer Services Agency & Trust team. 
  • The team's main responsibilities are to execute and close new Agency and Trust transactions for South East Asia clients
  • The person will have their own portfolio of transactions to be responsible for.
  • The main functions of the team are as below:
  • Execute new Agency and Trust transactions in SE Asia: including review, negotiation and commenting of transaction legal documents, liaise with transaction parties/transaction counsel through deal closing process
  • Deal closing, liaising with necessary parties including operations, clearing systems etc to bring deal to issue/close
  • Have a solid understanding of how assigned deals operate, including waterfall payments, trigger events etc. and handing-off to the administration and operations teams by articulating the deal mechanics and establishing a deal summary/procedure
  • Handling all client enquiries for transactions and building client/market participant relations
  • Identifying Tickler/diary date events for assigned transactions
  • Performing periodic account reviews as required
  • Writing procedures and operations summaries for transactions after transactions are closed
  • Liaising with operations as required.
  • Liaising with other global A&T colleagues, especially in London, Dublin and New York
  • Adherence to local regulatory requirements.
  • Support local Product Management requirements and initiatives as needed


  • Previous corporate trust/agency experience beneficial
  • Capital markets experience beneficial
  • Ability to review and understand transaction documentation
  • Ability to negotiate professionally with A&T clients, and handle difficult negotiations competently
  • College/University education
  • Good inter-personal/communication skills
  • Ability to work within critical timeframes and handle multiple transactions
