Description

  • Responsible for the effective implementation of the functional skills programs in business, to the highest standards, acting as conduit between region and country stakeholders in ensuring training requirements are met to the satisfaction of business stakeholders
  • Responsible for ensuring Go To Common Business Training standards are met for all training programs and curriculum
  • Primary contact for learning needs for the business. Leadership of country business training team and demonstrate leadership within the Country Lead Business Trainer Community. Act as one team with common objectives and standards
  • Ensure all employees receive required leadership and professional development skills as indicated in the role-based curricula, in partnership with the Country HR team (leverage on Country HR - L&D and Talent programs and activities)
  • Relationship Management
  • Work in close partnership with local Business seniors in terms of learner outcomes , curriculum content and in particular advocate the Go To Common principles in implementation of business training governance and processes
  • Work in close partnership, and seamlessly, with the Regional Learning team (Citi Learning)
  • Maintain key relationships with relevant agencies and/or providers, such as HRSS, Compliance, External services. Keep abreast of industry best practices
  • Work Force Management
  • Responsible for a consolidated team of full-time Business Trainers and Training administrators who support the country business training needs
  • Monitor and evaluate the business trainer performance, specifically the standards and quality of delivery. Ensuring certification levels are met and provide ongoing coaching and development of the business trainers
  • Responsible for ensuring sufficient admin resources are available for training operations; plan for ongoing process improvements and moving relevant work to HRSS
  • Operations Management
  • Manage the function like a business, the budget, cost allocation model, planning process, workforce efficiency, etc.
  • Manage the effective administration of classes and sustain cost effective delivery
  • Manage accurate and timely training MIS using the company's system of record, currently the GLMS. Ensure accurate and timely record keeping of internal and external certifications
  • Training and Content Management
  • Support development of prioritized L&D solutions
  • Have continuous engagement with Country Stakeholders and well as collaboration with the Regional Learning Team to ensure training content continues to meet business needs. Provide ongoing input for course improvements and new course needs


Qualifications

  • Efficient in workforce management (eg. oversight for the in-country dedicated Business Trainer population)
  • Logical and Analytic thinking: understand complex processes and provides simplification
  • Manage implementation of training programs effectively
  • Knowledge of GLMS to cascade relevant courses to targeted audience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suites is a plus
  • Strong communication and questioning skills
  • Analysis and decision making - able to identify and understand the primary issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions
  • Highly organized and able to deliver against firm timelines
