The job of IT Project Manager is to lead and deliver IT projects/releases on time, within budget, and without compromising quality. The main responsibilities include:
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver IT projects/releases within the agreed budget and schedule without compromising quality
- Manage and bring the project and contributing teams together to deliver the project/release
- Manage vendors (where applicable)
- Enforce the Bank's project management policies and procedures
- Review user requirements and perform system/functional analysis
- Provide viable solutions that improve operational efficiency, user experience, and deliver business initiatives
- Produce vendor requirements and review vendor FS (where applicable)
- Review and sign-off the artifacts and solutions produced by the vendor (where applicable)
- Provide SIT, UAT, regression testing, and rehearsal testing support
- Ensure successful implementation of solutions
- Provide weekend deployment support and Level 3 support for production
The ideal candidate should have:
- 10-12 years of IT experience in banking software development as Business analyst, Project manager or a mix of both
- Experience un banking projects, preferably in cash management or payments area
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-cultural environment
- Good experience in Payments, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking: Payments (Cross Border, RTGS, LVP , Payroll), Direct Debit, Cheques), and Receivables (Collections)
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 and Swift Message formats.
