Infrastructure Engineer-Network

Job Description:

• Accountable for engineering, project and operation of security products and technology
• Accountable for level 3 support with 24x7 escalation
• Management of network daily activities; implement change, review change script and support incident and problem trouble-shooting
• Responsible to come up network security solutions (engineering) requested from business
• Responsible to deliver network projects with team upon the completion on time
• Responsible to work with respective Data center network members on the review of network architecture and detail design
• Responsible to work with the respective server and application teams' members in trouble-shooting and identify root cause & for the completion of network initiatives
• Advanced troubleshooting production problems with RCA and fault diagnosis
• Ready to be on call for 24x7 support during shifts

Job Requirement:

The person should Network Engineer experience with the following skills and competencies:

• Experience in Data center network design and problem (incident) support
• Hands on expert level knowledge of routing, switching and firewall
• Experience with CheckPoint, PaloAlto firewall and BC Proxy/Fortinet Proxy
• Experience with F5 and various application load balancers
• Knowledge and experience in employing and using various networking trace tools, i.e. Wireshark, NetBrain, Elastic flows, Kibana and Logstash etc
• Network automation experiences using API integration and python
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF running on firewall, F5 LTM, BC/Fortinet proxy with strong deployment and troubleshooting
• Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking.
• Prior experience working in finance industry
