Institutional Sales Manager
Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Research the Institutional Sales market for IG's products (including both direct business and intermediated e.g. introducing brokers, white labels etc).

2. Agree an Institutional Sales strategy with the Global Head of Institutional Sales and a rolling business development plan.

3. Work towards meeting agreed sales targets and ensure all opportunities are maximised.

3. Take responsibility for account opening and on-going account handling for Institutional Clients.

4. Ensure the Institutional sales process remains in compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Devise and coordinate the development and delivery of Institutional marketing initiatives (if appropriate).

Person Specification:

Experience

Essential

Extensive experience of selling financial products or services to financial institutions, particularly sales of derivative products to retail brokers, asset managers and other financial intermediaries with their own retail clients.

Extensive experience of building a credible network of contacts and potential contacts at financial institutions.

Desirable

Track record of creating and delivering towards an approved business plan

Experience of selling to high net worth individuals or other retail customers
