Our client is an international banking organization providing various services and solutions to their extensive clientele base. They are looking for an experienced Java/J2EE Developer to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Development of new business processes
- Maintenance of existing business processes
- Refactoring existing processes for improvements and for new business requirements
- Review of process changes by teammates
- Post production support
- Test Support
- Participate in and sometimes lead solution design
- Participate in requirement discussions to help reach optimal solutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years Java server-side development experience with decent understanding of core design patterns.
- Hands on experience in Java and J2EE application environments
- Relevant experience with SQL databases
- Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
- Knowledge of consuming and providing REST APIs
- Relevant experience in Unix/Linux environments
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies is advantageous
- Cloud knowledge a big plus (AWS/GCP) - (Kubernetes/Docker)
