You will be part of Partners Group's Transaction Services, a team that supports investment professionals in all their investment activities. Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement transaction related projects and tools, and to review as well as to update procedures and controls relating to Partners Group's global investment platform. You will also have the opportunity to manage the legal aspects of fund and direct investment processes.

You will be part of Partners Group's Transaction Services, a team that supports investment professionals in all their investment activities. Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement transaction related projects and tools, and to review as well as to update procedures and controls relating to Partners Group's global investment platform. You will also have the opportunity to manage the legal aspects of fund and direct investment processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and implement transaction related projects, tools and databases;
  • Develop new and streamline existing, investment related services/processes and procedures;
  • Maintain and enhance the internal knowhow platform;
  • Prepare regular project reports to Head of Transaction Services, senior managements or Executive Committee;
  • Assist in further developing management information systems;
  • Hold education seminars for new investment professionals on investment related processes from a legal/tax perspective;
  • Work with and manage external counsel on legal aspects of fund and direct investment process as required;
  • Support other teams (including, but not limited to, tax, structuring, compliance, and general counsel's office) on an ad-hoc basis.

What we expect

  • Top academic credentials in law or business administration/ finance with strong legal know how;
  • 2-4 experience in legal knowhow, corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions or other transactional or business law categories in banking / finance;
  • Highly entrepreneurial and detail oriented with excellent analytical and project management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Strong MS office skills, additional programming skills are a plus.
