What you will be doing
You will assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies. Ensure all business is underwritten within established guidelines.
You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the risk and exposures of potential clients. Provide support and services on matters relating to underwriting.
We are looking for someone with minimum 10 years of experience in Life Underwriting. Someone who can communicate decisions and issues to senior management effectively with sound communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. This person would need to be hands-on with ad-hoc projects or administrative work. Dynamic and enthusiastic with capacity to work independently and take initiative.
