Managing Director - Equity Capital Markets - Investment Bank

This large International Investment Bank is looking for an ECM team head.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand client base within APAC ex-Japan, in collaboration with various teams and relationship managers
Provide broad recommendation of structures and present views directly to clients on market capacity / acceptability to capital raising options across various equity and equity-linked products
Execute all participated APAC ex-Japan equity and equity linked offerings in our Hong Kong office, work closely with the team of legal, compliance, risk where appropriate, and also the equities teams for distribution
Ensure all offerings underwritten are executed in accordance with policy and procedure guidelines & rules, including relevant transaction approval processes
Keep corporate clients up to date on ECM trends via regular and ad-hoc market updates and case studies provide advice to investor relations advice for non-deal roadshows maintain contact and/or develop relationship with institutional investors

Requirements

Solid experience from origination to execution of transactions
Broad knowledge of rules and regulations in whole APAC ex-Japan ECM
Have full understanding of the equity capital markets including equity linked products
Equity-linked structuring and pricing capability
Demonstrate an “entrepreneurial” mindset
Excellent presentation, communication and client facing skills
Analytical skills (market and product trend etc)
Familiar with Technical systems including Dealogic, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Bloomberg. etc.)
Proficiency in Cantonese and English is expected
