Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading retail customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Market Head.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead the team to deliver the Market Team, Premier International Centre and Retail Banking Wealth Management performance measures and Country Strategic Plan.
  • Manage and coach the team to drive performance with a hands on style to grow the Team's capability in understanding customers better through documented lifestyle review conversations, productivity, customer experience level and staff engagement
  • In conjunction with the team to build a strong presence in Singapore and the country the Market team covers
  • Lead the Market Team in line with the processes and cross borders compliance as depicted in the Premier International Centre offshore manual and other operational guidelines so to achieve consistency of management of the staff and delivery of service and sales to HSBC clients
  • Monitor and act on daily customer management activity by active usage of internal information tools to coach the team and achieve the business goals
  • Lead, manage and coach the Market team


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Proven ability in team leadership and management.
  • Proven ability in driving teams to meet client's wealth management needs.
  • Proven ability in relationship management in the wealth management space.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis on inspiring, influencing and negotiating.
  • Coaching selling techniques, best practice and sales management to a team and in one to one basis
  • Attain appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications as required by the authorities.
  • Attain any internal standards as required by Country
