Marketing Manager, Financial Products

The primary purpose of this role is to lead our Asia Financial Product marketing efforts. The Product Marketing Manager will work with the global Financial Product Marketing Lead & Asia Product Teams to help define the overall marketing strategy and plans for the related products in region. This role will require understanding the business line marketing needs for our Interest Rates, FX, Equities futures and options businesses as well as our OTC clearing services. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying the most effective ways to utilize our marketing tools to meet those needs for existing customers for these products as well as identify tactics to help market and nurture potential new clients for sales outreach.
This regional role is suitable for an individual with a strong understanding of the financial markets and had demonstrated track record of B2B marketing successes.
This position will be based in Singapore and report to the Senior Marketing Director, Asia.

Primary areas of focus for the role:

1. Work to develop strategic marketing plan for related financial products in Asia
2. Identify CME product positioning and marketing needs for campaigns and related outreach activities with a focus on both existing customers as well as potential new customers
3. Create campaigns and implement marketing programs to meet those needs with specific goals on marketing engagement for current customers and new client acquisition
4. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement, track and do effective follow ups on the outreach activities   
5. Create and maintain quarterly data dashboards and bi-annual strategy documents, including regular updates on new client acquisition marketing performance for financials products
7. Own and contribute to the overall financial product marketing efforts in Asia.

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field required, MBA a plus.

  • Demonstrable B2B marketing experience with exposure to the financial industry and understanding of the futures markets is required.
  • Strong sense of collaboration and ability to work in a global, matrixed organization with cross functional teams
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to make decisions, manage projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively offers solutions, promotes and sell ideas persuasively,
  • Good writing skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken)

Software Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Pardot and Salesforce will be highly valued.

Scheduling, & Location Requirements:
  • 5-10% travel required.
