We're looking for fun, hardworking, results-oriented individuals to join nexus, the team responsible for Standard Chartered's brand new, Banking-as-a-Service solution.

The Role Responsibilities
• Coordinate the stream and apply the programme methodology and governance to ensure deliveries are made on time and within the budget allocated
• Identify all the required activities to delivery and build the plan accordingly
• Carefully manage the plan as well as the risks and issues and translate the plan into tangible timelines and milestones
• Suggest solid mitigation options when required
• Identify and monitor the key external dependencies that could affect the delivery
• Act as a first escalation point: Remove any blocker preventing the delivery; able to escalate in a timely way to senior management when required
• Manage program budgets, and purchase requisitions
• Work out an effective communication to report regularly to management and key stakeholders the progress on the project as well as potential issues or decisions needed
• Provide visibility to the project stream leads on the overall progress and their contribution to the overall deliverables
• Design a robust QA process to monitor compliance of various governance standards
• Apply a structured methodology to ensure the project deliverables
• Proactive engagement of stakeholders and management of expectations.

Our Ideal Candidate
• University graduate with solid experience in the banking industry, exposure of key positions in Operations Development, Business Process Management, Change Management and/or Management Consulting; with experience in a project management role or equivalent capacity
• Proven track record in delivery of large projects in a sizable organization
• Project management certification (PMP, SCRUM, PRINCE etc) with focus on Agile methodology
• Expertise in software development methodologies (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile) including being seasoned Jira and Confluence user is a must
• Results oriented, able to work in high pressure environment
• Strong sense of ownership for the project and demonstrate commitment to driving project objectives
• Demonstrated ability to work with different cultures, and with proven negotiation and leadership skills; strong coordination skills and capability to drive the contributors and stakeholders who have different priorities; ability to influence and facilitate executive level decisions
• Ability to identify project risks and to recommend mitigation actions
• Pro-active and forward thinker: able to anticipate and to take action accordingly
• Able to be comfortable at the deepest level of details and to be able to articulate a clear summary to senior stakeholders when required (covering both technical and business aspects)
• Thinks critically about project delivery, challenges the status quo to identify opportunities to enhance processes and services
• Demonstrate strong moral principles to do what is right for the customers, employees and partners; have the courage to speak the mind and not afraid to push boundaries
• Excellent presentation skills
