Huxley is Looking to hire UX writers to help with writing and translation skills.
UX Writer
Our internal Client's design Studio is looking for UX Writers that can help develop writing products and service experiences across various touchpoints. The UX Writing team is small, but mighty. We're looking for someone who can be resourceful, flexible, and can effectively prioritize their work.
We partner with designers, researchers, product managers, other UX writers and engineers to deliver compelling content solutions. Lead projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches. Together with these cross-functional partners, set the vision for the user experience and build the space for others to collaborate.
Though the main focus of this role will be UX Writing, this person will need to be comfortable writing content for multiple channels, including landing pages, emails, and short articles.
You will be working remotely and collaborate with distributed teams across the globe, working on the most advanced e-commerce in existence today and tomorrow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to a product team of designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists
- Offer a content strategy perspective throughout the product development process, and influence strategic decisions across and within products to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency across platforms
- Drive consensus across teams and advocate for solutions that balance the needs our users with our business goals
- Write clear and concise content across multiple touch points (including product names, labels and navigational elements, emails, tutorials, marketing pages, and notifications)
- Work with other UX writers to maintain and evolve voice and tone guidelines and help evangelise those resources across the company
- Develop content frameworks, product narratives, and other deliverables that explain your recommendations and help people understand the practice of content strategy
- Approach all of your work with a global mindset, advocate for designs and language that internationalise well
- Share your work with other UX writers and team members, provide feedback on their work, and contribute to the team through mentoring, onboarding or recruiting
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years professional writing experience in English, Spanish or French ( to liaise with relevant stakeholders and to work with the required languages)
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience writing content for web/mobile products
- Experience writing emails, landing pages, or editorial content
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional partners
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of email marketing and social channels are a plus
- Portfolio of writing samples
