The Investigation Analyst (IA) participates in assigned investigation workstreams in accordance with the Bank’s Investigation Policy and supporting procedures. They typically support specific business/functional teams and also work alongside subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver high-quality investigation outcomes, with a focus on analytical tasks. The Investigation Analyst typically works under the direct supervision of a Principal Investigator or Investigator, using a range of methods and approaches within investigations and applying their knowledge of the relevant business area/market place to achieve appropriate outcomes.
Your key responsibilities:
- Investigates regional and/or global investigations, taking responsibility for the end-to-end process, e.g. scoping, the use of forensic tools for data collection and analysis, conducting interviews and drafting high quality investigation reports.
- Works as part of a team, as well as independently, to run multiple project assignments in a timely manner, without compromising on high quality delivery.
- Provides succinct briefings to key stakeholders on the progress and outcomes of investigations and to work with other functions to deliver concrete results.
- Understands risks associated with investigations and escalates them appropriately.
- Develops and maintains professional working relationships with investigation colleagues, business teams and relevant support areas.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience conducting investigations in financial services industry or a corporate setting, or equivalent experience using strategies and methods for use within investigations.
- Educated to university degree level or above with Certified Fraud Examination (CFE) or other relevant professional qualification required.
- Experience of using forensic tools required.
- Sound understanding/experience of international financial services industry and prior experience of working more broadly across the Asia Pacific region required.
- Previous experience of working in a challenging, fast-paced, international environment.
- Ability to manage and prioritise your time to meet deadlines and expectations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think independently and to provide challenge.
- Strong command of written and oral English is a necessity for this role.
- Strong team player with experience to work in diverse teams.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
