Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities
  • To lead and manage a team of RMs to acquire, grow and develop relationships with SME customers in the Shipping by actively up-selling and cross-selling products and services of the Bank and be responsible for the team's financial revenue and budget
  • To lead team to actively upsell and cross-sell products and services of the Bank including Loans, Treasury, Cash & Trade, BANCA and digital solutions
  • To ensure timely and accurate review and consistent execution of financial solutions and service delivery across the target business segments
  • To advocate for digitalization and drive the digital initiatives in line with the Bank's strategy
  • To leverage on the DBS network to deepen client coverage and enhance overall portfolio return
  • To lead team in the assessment of risk exposure, monitor & manage the portfolio risk and conduct timely reviews including delivery of credit underwriting recommendations and completion of customer due diligence reviews based on sound judgment in line with the Bank's credit & compliance policies
  • To contribute to the formulation & execution of marketing strategies for the segment

Requirements
  • University degree holder with at least 8-10 years of relevant relationship management experience in commercial lending
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and leading a team of bankers involved in origination and execution
  • Demonstrate strong credit risk assessment skills, business and financial analytical skills, sound products and SME industry knowledge
  • Results driven, highly motivated, resourceful and possess the ability to develop business strategies and maintain discipline in planning and executing daily activities to align with the long-term vision and direction of the franchise and bank's priorities
