The Role: As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing, retaining and growing existing accounts, and delivering an overall positive experience for our clients. You will also be involved in driving new business by referring opportunities and working closely with the new business development team. You will be part of our South-east Asia Relationship Management team managing your own book of accounts in the Commercial Lending & Insurance Segment.

  • Managing existing client relationships across a range of financial industries including Commercial Lending, Insurance, Investment Banking, Private Equity and Corporates throughout ASEAN region covering countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
  • Provide individual trainings on the suite of S&P Global Market Intelligence products and services, client services, client retention, renewal contract negotiations and invoice collections.
  • Work closely with business development team in assisting revenue generation through existing clients.
  • Develop a strong understanding of, and stay current on, the S&P Global Market Intelligence products and their application to specific job functions, and external market trends and regulations impacting our clients.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor degree in business, commerce, economics or related subjects is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of client-facing experience working in the institutional financial markets
  • Proven track record in relationship management is highly desired.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrates exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner.
  • Strong personal integrity and a confident and positive manner.
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates initiative, resilience and long term strategic thinking.
  • Work effectively in a team-based environment as well as independently
  • Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills and ability to build C-level engagements at client organizations (CRO, CIO, CXO etc)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience in the areas of credit risk, financial modeling and valuation analysis is highly desirable
  • MBA, CFA qualifications or MAppFin is a plus
