About the Department
The Group Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Our team of Human Resources specialists are guided by four employee commitments: do what is right, build meaningful careers, make a real difference and lead by positive example.
UOB Group Rewards is responsible for the development of innovative and progressive corporate reward programmes/ solutions, as well as provide governance oversight on reward programmes across the group. We are the key drivers in the group-wide implementation of reward projects and programmes which are aligned to strategic objectives and aim to provide effective and timely business-specific rewards advice and solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner and build relationships with HR Business Partners and country/ business stakeholders as the subject matter expert in driving and implementation of Total Rewards programmes, such as annual salary planning, compensation reviews, incentive programme design, job sizing, benefit reviews, wellness and rewards related governance and policies.
  • Abreast of laws regulating rewards practices and drive rewards programmes changes to ensure competitive pay and governance on Total Rewards policies and practices that comply with statutory regulations and global standards, across business and countries.
  • Provide technical advice in incentive plan design and drive governance to ensure alignment to regulatory requirements and business strategy.
  • Development and implementation of rewards policies and solutions, in collaborations with internal teams.
  • Develops and communicates Wellness solutions, policies and implementation of Wellness Programmes in the Bank.

Job Requirements
  • At least 10 years of direct experience in Compensation & Benefits or Reward.
  • Prior experience working in Financial Services and/or Banking and regional experiences would be advantageous.
  • Experience in designing, managing and implementing reward plans/ programmes in a medium/ large organization; experience in Corporate headquarter will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and methodologies, international reward practices, legislative regulations and compliance.
  • Strong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good knowledge and experienced in incentive plan design and policy.
  • Good logical and conceptual thinking - ability to analyse data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on analysis.
  • Independent, keen learner, self-driven and collaborative.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and advocate change through influence.
