Our client, a global fixed income investment fund, is seeking to hire a Sales Associate based in Singapore as part of their business expansion. The role will involve providing sales support to senior team members in servicing institutional and intermediary clients across Asia.
The Sales Associate role requires good fluency in both traditional and simplified Chinese. While business-level proficiency is not mandatory, the candidate should be able to effectively use Google translation. This language requirement is essential as the role will involve covering certain Asia countries where Chinese is the main language.
Candidates with 1 to 5 years of working experience are encouraged to apply. Ideally, candidates should have previous experience in a front office support role at another fund house, such as client servicing, sales support, RFP, client onboarding, or marketing function.
Responsibilities:
Client Support
- Supporting the sales team to cultivate new client relationships and manage existing ones
- Responding to client requests on all product related information
- Coordination with the RFP Teams in US and Europe.
- Coordination with internal teams such as Risk, Marketing and Compliance to ensure marketing materials are accurate and complied
- Coordination with external translators to update marketing materials
Client Meetings and Product Pitches
- Coordinate marketing and product material with portfolio managers and sales team
- Preparation and follow up of client meetings and calls in coordination with the sales team
Campaign Management
- Distribution of market commentary
- Support the senior sales team members for product initiatives
- Event Management: working closely with the internal marketing and communications team in regards to participating in roundtables, conferences etc.
Management Information System Reports
- Overview of AUM in Asia Pacific
- Flow tracking
- Pipeline Management
- Maintenance of client and target list
- Controlling and distribution of product and holding reports
- Reconciliation of holdings with Fund Platforms
Onboarding
- Working with internal teams to support:
- Set up distribution agreements
- Set up segregated mandates
- Handling of KYC
