Sales Executive/Business Development

The candidate will work as the main driver of revenue acquisition across assigned accounts and product lines and will ensure that the business goals are achieved. The candidate will work within the Financial Markets and Energy sales teams to generate leads, and work closely with other EDM teams to close the qualified opportunities. Specifically duties & responsibilities include:

  • Generation of new lead pipeline for new business and existing clients in South East Asia
  • Proactively propose and conduct sales campaigns to identify new potential business
  • Maintain pipeline and generate management reports (cold calls list, user list etc.) from Salesforce
  • Identify and qualify the client's needs and determine how to best position the EDM suite of solutions and services
  • Take responsibility for acquiring and keeping Markit EDM product knowledge to a high standard by actively working with the relevant internal EDM teams
  • Become self-sufficient on all steps of a software selling process to deliver against the sales target, with the help of the various internal EDM teams
