The Senior Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for setup and leading a Amplify Health's Cloud Architecture function, which provides bespoke Cloud solution architecture services (Cloud, and Hybrid) to Operational Delivery and Project Teams. Works closely with AIA Enterprise Architecture, Technical Authority, Automation, Security and IT Operations teams in ensuring that Amplify solutions are based on approved technologies, comply with security requirements and are supportable.
How you would make a difference - Leads Cloud and Architecture function
- Engage with AIA Group and Business Unit project teams to understand requirements, propose and create (and keep up to date) artifacts including (but not limited to) architecture designs, blueprints, design patterns and others as required to support project deliverables.
- Produce technical specifications and integration requirements for selected technologies.
- Ensure that solutions are agile, robust, cost-efficient and meet Amplify Health business needs without compromising the quality.
- Collaborate with automation and DevSecOps teams to templatize product / applications designs.
- Attend, Lead, justify and advise to the related Company governing committees where applicable: Architecture Review Board (ARB), Technology Review Board (TRB), Sourcing Committee (SC), Change Assessment Board (CAB) for technology related changes and enhancements.
- Lead and help execute multiple project/development team engagements related to cloud adoption, cloud migration and/or new build of applications.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on Cloud related technology platforms & services.
- Together with Technology Risk/InfoSec function, ensure effectiveness of Cloud security.
- Collaboration framework with suppliers and partner organisations to offer leadership and design towards vision and strategy
- Contribute in technology selection, define & implement standard design patterns/templates, define, run, participate and manage proof of concepts
- Work alongside AIA and Amplify Teams to respond to audit requests and implement audit actions.
What you need to be successful - Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
- At least 15 years work experience within IT Infrastructure functions with at least 5 years in architecture & design role.
- An understanding of architecture design & implementations on hybrid and public clouds with fully virtualized environments (IaaS, PaaS), assessment, migration and adoption of Cloud services at scale. Experienced on DevOps, hybrid and public cloud integration.
- Experienced and knowledgeable about Azure AWS, GCP and other leading public Clouds.
- Cloud Architecture certified (Azure)
- Having knowledge about VMware technologies; Active Directory, Office 365, Windows & Linux platforms; Middleware, DB
- Ability to drive multiple vendors to support a complex enterprise infrastructure environment
- Deep understanding of Microservice architectures and working containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Deep knowledge of database and middleware platform layers
- Work with internal and external partners, carriers, facility operators and our hardware vendors to design and develop connectivity strategy
- Strong project implementation background, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong sense of ownership & self-driven
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Cooperative, good teamwork and able to work independently
