Senior Credit Analyst (Corporates)

My client is a regional financial services Group headquartered in Singapore. This role involves leading the financing and credit components of deals, with high-level exposure to senior management, including the CEO. As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance on debt structuring to various teams within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Leadership: Oversee the financing and credit aspects of deals, providing strategic direction and showcasing leadership to senior management.
  • Advisor Role: Serve as a trusted consultant for debt structuring, supporting coverage teams, private wealth management, and sales.
  • Credit Discussions: Lead credit discussions on potential opportunities in screening committee meetings.
  • Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Develop and negotiate bankable financing solutions for the firm, securing necessary credit approvals for clients.
  • Credit Application Process: Manage the entire internal credit application process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Termsheet Negotiation: Lead termsheet negotiations and structuring discussions with clients, in collaboration with legal counsels, ensuring adherence to regulations and policies.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks and projects as directed by the Head of Department.


Qualifications:

  • Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable in a cross-cultural environment, collaborating with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Deal Structuring Expertise: Extensive experience in deal structuring and credit across various sectors, with a deep understanding of different financing structures.
  • Credit Decision-Making: Proven track record in making sound credit decisions, even with incomplete information, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Confident in articulating credit opinions, including negative recommendations, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage stakeholders and secure buy-in on credit recommendations.
  • Adaptability: Highly adaptable, capable of navigating a dynamic and fast-moving work environment.
