Senior Data Engineer & Scientist

We are looking for a Data Engineer/ Scientist to join our team creating new pipelines to process and learn from financial data. You will work closely with product owners, data analyst and team members to deliver solutions through new and existing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with key stakeholders across multiple functions and businesses to understand business problems and drive data adoption
• Build/Manage/Support Data Analytics Solution using modern design and architecture techniques
• Adopt an open and analytical mindset in evaluating the variety of data management / data governance tools used in Citi that help drive the overall enterprise data strategy
• Ensure documentation and traceability of requirements, process flow diagrams and other project documents

Skills & Qualifications:

• You have a strong practical understanding of data science methodologies and experience in applying them
• You have a good understanding of the Python / R language and key libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, etc) and deal with large structured and unstructured data
• You have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• You understand how to use SQL, Postgres, S3, Oracle
• Good understanding of key regulatory reports in Singapore e.g. MAS 610, 637, 649, 652
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements e.g. Basel-II/III, FRTB, BCBS239, SACCR etc
• You have high development standards, especially for code quality, code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration and deployment with Agile, Dev Ops methodologies and framework
• You are an adaptable, resourceful, well organized, team player with a strong work ethic
• You agree that verbal and written communication skills are vital
• You are educated to degree level or above with minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience
• You can do logical or physical data modelling, runs data profiling, data cleansing, and understand data enrichment.
