Exciting role to join IT data team with a large global financial institution
Exciting for role for Senior Data Engineer in a large global bank. Playing senior role in the team you will work across enterprise data warehouse / Data Lake ensuring best practise. Responsibilities will include:
- Design and Developing engineering patterns, frameworks and best practices
- Developing and maintaining enterprise Big Data and Data warehouse / Data Lake Work across data pipelines and data warehouse ETL jobs
- Ensuring data quality and data management
- Carrying out data mapping Development using Python as well as some big data tools such as Hives or Python
- Carrying ouyt Data ingestion, data cleansing
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working as a Data Engineer in medium to large sized organisation
- Experience working with data engineering frameworks and best practice for metadata-driven engineering for data pipelines and Data warehouse
- Experience working with data pipelines, data cleansing
- Strong skills with SQL Experience in Python or big data
- Strong analytical skills in data topics
- Strong ETL and data modelling skills are a must
- Experience working within Agile environment nice to have
