The role sits within the Asia Pacific Experian X Lab business and reports directly to the Innovation Director for APAC. Experian APAC has a very ambitious and focused growth agenda. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced executive with strong business acumen who can drive a culture of continuous innovation coupled with excellent communication and problem solving skills

This core focus of the role is to generate a pipeline of opportunities for the Experian X-Lab. To do so will require building and maintaining a network of relationships within the Experian business across APAC and identifying opportunities which drive value for these markets. The ideal candidate must be forward thinking with a proven track record of successfully bringing financial services related products, services and technologies to market. The role requires an individual with a strong combination of strategic thinking and detailed tactical planning.

  • Key Leader within X Lab Team
  • Regular presence in Experian markets across APAC
  • Senior stakeholder management within Experian
  • Evangelising the X Lab strategy and success throughout Experian APAC
  • Core ability to see opportunities and clearly feed into the X Lab pipeline for solution design
  • Contributor to X Lab strategy and methodology to optimize our outputs and processes

Qu The ideal candidate will have:
  • Retail and business banking experience or deep understanding
  • Experience of innovation within a business-to-business focussed corporate
  • Extensive experience in leading complex initiatives and providing leadership to teams accordingly
  • Experience with working with Design Thinking, Agile methodology or similar
  • Strong interest and knowledge of emerging technology trends and applications
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, customer-driven environment
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience working in a fast pace environment with a capacity to prioritize, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and vendors to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes
  • Ability to think out of the box with a constant lookout for leading industry practice
  • Comfort and experience engaging clients and prospects
  • Undergraduate Degree level and relevant business experience, MBA preferred
