Senior Project Manager - Cross-border Payments

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for cross-border payment IT projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Build and lead a cross-functional project team, including developers, analysts, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and stakeholders, including business units and external partners.
• Provide regular project status updates, progress reports, and issue resolutions to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
• Proactively identify and assess project risks and issues.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address potential roadblocks.
• Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality cross-border payment solutions.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the successful integration of external solutions into the cross-border payment ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Proven experience (10+ years) as an IT Project Manager with a focus on cross-border payment projects / ISO.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border payment systems, including SWIFT, SEPA, and other international payment standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
