This role focuses on enhancing our mobile and fixed broadband connectivity businesses by the introduction and creation of new gaming products for our customers in partnership with solution and technology partners. Being part of M1's digital transformation initiative, the role will have the opportunity to redefine our digital product experience tapping into M1's new IT Ecosystem from enabling self-serve to overseeing the seamless integration into M1's network or partner platform.


The incumbent is responsible for leading the development and management of M1's gaming product portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Connect Services, the incumbent will help to define new products and technologies that drive growth for our gaming product portfolio:
  • Own and drive M1's gaming product strategy, plans and roadmaps
  • Drive M1's engagements within the gaming industry
  • Develop and manage M1's suite of gaming products & platforms and related integration activities
  • Accountable for gaming portfolio products P&L and business metrics
  • Draw on your expertise in the gaming industry to identify new opportunities, trends, innovations, and partners
  • Develop subject matter expertise on gaming product use cases
  • Align M1's business strategies, needs and challenges into our gaming business strategies
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis for the gaming market

  • Define product requirements and roadmap priorities
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes including product ideation, discovery, development, management, and sun setting of products
  • Conduct market research, understand use cases and workflows, define features and roadmaps, product strategy, devise marketing positioning, and help take products to market
  • Responsible for the business success of the products including products' revenue and loss, return of investment, product experience, operational excellence
  • Lead cross-functional teams from engineering, marketing to sales teams on the development, Proof-of-Concepts, and release of products
  • Manage the product development process from timelines, stakeholder management to driving the requirements and workflows of the products
  • Manage the relationship with the partners for M1's gaming product portfolio
  • Ensuring that we are constantly across the latest innovation and technology trends globally within the gaming industry
  • Responsible for integration of gaming platforms into both internal and external platforms (i.e Telco's payment platforms or aggregators)
  • Conduct customer research activities to determine gaps in services

  • A Bachelor's degree with 7 to 12 years of product management experience within the gaming industry
  • Certifications in Project Management/ Technology and experience in Agile and/or DevOps is desirable
  • Strong passion for gaming, broad knowledge of technology, and good sensibility for building products that delights
  • Open-minded to explore and excel new gaming segments which may be new to the incumbent or not the incumbent area of strength
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and lead multiple product development processes
  • Demonstrated track record in having taken products to market successfully
  • Demonstrate strong ownership in developing plans and driving matrix/virtual teams, managing issues, bottlenecks and barriers
  • Experience of integrating gaming platforms into 3 rd party provider platform/solution whether telco's payment platforms or aggregators
  • Demonstrate strong ownership in developing and maintaining partnerships
  • Strong ability to understand and articulate both technical and business requirements.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and the ability to derive insight from research and findings and to develop a product proposition
  • Adept influencer, internally and externally
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with customers, teams and partners
  • S elf-driven and can work within diverse and cross-functional teams
  • Results driven with the flexibility to adapt/realign direction as required in this dynamic technology industry
  • Proven ability to put customers at the heart of the business
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills and be comfortable interacting with Senior Management
