Software Developer (Python and React) - Singapore / Hong Kong- Global Investment Manager

Our client is a leading quant and systematic hedge fund, leveraging their deep knowledge of trading, technology and operations to deliver high-quality, uncorrelated returns. Seeking a Software Developer with either Python and React experience to join the team in Singapore / Hong Kong.

As part of the Data Science and Engineering products team, your main focus will be the design, build out and maintaining of cutting-edge machine learning and data science tools & frameworks, ensuring scalability and production quality. You will gain exposure to some of the most advanced technologies and cloud offerings as you work across the entire development lifecycle; from gathering requirements, to designing and implementing solutions, to testing and support.

Requirements

• 2+ years' professional development experience in Python and React
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related)
• Solid experience developing, scripting, debugging and analyzing performance of complex software projects
• Familiar with basic to intermediate Linux commands
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL tech
• Excellent critical and analytical problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Cloud-based experience on AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience with highly available distributed systems
• Experience with web application development (JS technologies) and Docker/Kubernetes
