Responsible for supporting specific functional/business areas in terms of information system needs.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - To play the role of a Claims Process Analyst for all the project categories.
New Products/Day 2 New Products Enhancements - To review the new products to be launched by the Company.
- To participate in discussions with the relevant departments i.e., Products, AOS, Technology and etc. in order to understand the product features of the new products and enhancements that are required in system.
- To review the business requirement on the new products to ensure that it is comprehensive and meet the needs, taking into consideration future needs and changing business needs.
- To review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan and scenarios prepared by AOS team.
- To prepare user training guide on the new products.
- To perform post implementation verification on an actual case received and report to AOS team if the enhancement is not as per the requirement.
System Enhancement Requests - To gather the requirements on the system enhancements from Claims Operation stakeholders.
- Ensure business requirements are clearly articulate, translated and documented for efficient delivery by technical/delivery team.
- Work closely with delivery teams ensuring quality & timely delivery.
- To review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan and scenarios prepared by AOS team.
- To assist on the UAT testing at times.
- To perform post implementation verification on an actual case received and report to AOS team if the enhancement is not as per the requirement.
Problem Ticket Requests - To raise to AOS team only if it is system issue which has to be investigated by Technology team.
- To participate in discussion with the relevant departments i.e., AOS, Technology and etc. to know the root cause of the issue and the fix required to resolve the issue.
- To assist on the UAT testing at times.
- To perform post implementation verification on an actual case received and report to AOS team if the fix is not as per the requirement.
Daily Production Enquires - To ensure that Claims users enquires with regards to system behaviors are being followed up.
- To find solution for the system enquiries for user to proceed with the claim process.
- To escalate to AOS team only if it is due to system behavior logic and not user error.
Other Scopes - Be a connecting bridge between AOS team, Technology team and users.
- Attend weekly prioritization/production issue review session organized by AOS team to discuss on the prioritization/production issue and update on each work in progress project status.
- Attend monthly prioritization session organized by AOS team with Claims HOD to be updated on each work in progress project status.
- Attend weekly Claims meeting to update on new products and system enhancement/issues with Claims HOD and Team Leads.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Diploma or Degree holder in Business Information System, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Candidate with 4 - 5 years of experience in the role of Business Analyst, preferably in the Life Insurance industry, with knowledge in insurance operation and process transformation in system areas are preferred.
- Meticulous and able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
- Good in verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to share and learn.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and is a team player.
