Our client is a global owner and operator of luxury hotels and resorts. It continues to drive meaningful impact to the communities and environment through embedding sustainable development practices in its core business activities. It is now recruiting a high caliber Director, Sustainability Lead for its global operations.
Responsibilities
You will define and drive the strategy, direction and engagement across divisions including cluster sustainability leads, property sustainability champions, finance, operations and communication. You will partner with internal stakeholders in ensuring annual and long-range sustainability targets are met. You will ensure sustainability reporting and governance are in line with global standards and regulatory frameworks. You will be the face of the company on sustainability and partner with relevant industry bodies and external sustainability groups in promoting and achieving the company's sustainability vision and goals.
Requirements
Degree in Environmental Science, Conservation, Sustainability Management and related field, you possess experience ideally in travel and hospitality industries. You have led major environmental / sustainability projects across geographies and possess strong corporate sustainability experience across strategy, reporting, governance and data. With strong interpersonal, communication and execution skills, you will be strategic, driven, operationally hands-on, solutions-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment.
