WE ARE LOOKING FOR .....

•\tOversee and implement climate & environmental management initiatives across the Group, including achieving net-zero GHG emissions by 2050
•\tImplement and manage NetZero program and GHG emissions accounting, reporting and disclosures
•\tCollate, Analyze, Benchmark and Support ESG reporting (Environmental data management and ESG indices/benchmarks submission)
•\tImplement smart ESG/environmental data analytics & reporting tools, best practices

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Group Real Estate and Group Investment to set targets, track, and monitor progress against AIA's short, medium, and long-term emissions and other environmental targets including net-zero GHG emissions target by 2050
• Develop and implement environmental management initiatives such as energy efficiency, waste management and environmental performance data tracking and management, sustainable procurement, and deploy such initiatives across the Group and Markets
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to produce the Group's annual ESG Report, including the review of Chinese translation of the ESG Report
• Manage the implementation, and be responsible for the day-to-day management of greenhouse gas emissions accounting, tracking and reporting and other environmental management systems across all markets.
• Implement latest data aggregation platforms and to enable near real-time data collection, analysis, benchmarking & reporting of emissions, energy use, water, waste and other parameters at group level and lead in annual reporting data disclosures
• Implement and manage end-to-end Supply Chain Sustainability Management system to ensure compliance and suitability of third parties to AIA's ESG standards
• Collaborate with the local markets to collect, manage, and consolidate the Group's environmental data; and be responsible for the independent assurance of such data
• Provide awareness, training and capacity building across local markets on policies, tools and performance data platforms
• Research latest ESG related regulations, listing rules, updates and trends related to sustainable operations in all markets
• Participate in the completion of ESG Rating Agency Disclosures and Sustainability Index questionnaires such as those by CDP, Hang Seng, Dow Jones Sustainability Index to name a few
• Assist in coordinating responses to investor queries on ESG related to sustainable operations
• Support in strategic and other tactical ESG initiatives as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Direct collaboration with stakeholders in Hong Kong, China and Singapore will require the candidate to be proficient in both Chinese (Traditional and Simplified Chinese) and English written and verbal communication.
• Education, training, and credentials in environmental data management and carbon accounting preferred
• Expertise in planning and implementing performance data management, smart analytics and dashboarding tools
• Prior experience of implementing environmental initiatives, data tracking, reporting and leading both at Markets and group level
