The Role Responsibilities
    To manage the delivery of new and replacement SCB hosted infrastructure and environments from request through to Operational. Work closely with eCommerce Application Support, Infrastructure Architecture and Delivery, eCommerce Business and other Foundation services to continuously improve the eCommerce Trading Infrastructure for Standard Chartered Bank. Contribute to Bank's Cloud First strategy and DevOps. Insourcing of various Datacenter support and commercials from third-party vendors to SCB. Capacity, Resiliency, Obsolescence and Disaster Recovery planning/execution/remediation projects Engage management and groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation. Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to encourage, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements. Oversee the acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with team members, managers Change coordination and planning Drive Infrastructure stability reviews and improvements. Capacity Planning of Servers, Network capacity and application performance indicators Service Improvement Plans. Put forward ideas to improve automation and efficiency, and own through to implementation. Drive Delivery/Engineering teams to provide fit-for-purpose solutions as required. Work out-of-hours/weekends as needed during critical project phases

Project management
    Experience in managing Infrastructure and Datacentre Projects Experience in handling DC Migration, Server Builds and Network deployments. To understand high-level technical architecture and be able to facilitate debate and drive decisions on appropriate solutions.
Technology
    Knowledge in Servers, Network Devices, Database, Middleware product identification and specifications High-level knowledge in Redhat Linux, Solace, Storage infrastructure components High-level knowledge of WAN Links, Load balancing, DNS, DDoS Exposure to Low latency and high-frequency trading environment Familiarity with software technologies as used in development environments. e:g JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins Familiarity with software technologies as used in production environments. e:g Remedy, ITRS Geneos, BMC Patrol Familiarity with Cloud Architecture and DevOps concepts
Others
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience Investment Banking experience preferred Understanding of eTrading FX, Rates, Fixed Income business Self-starter, able to self-manage with strong collaboration skills and able to interact effectively with others. Leadership experience and strong teaming abilities Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and deliver. Minimum of three years of management experience in the IT field, including Production Support, Operations or software development and interactions with customers Knowledge about the latest market trends and hardware suitable for low latency trading. Good knowledge of co-located data centre environments Knowledge of Redhat Linux / midrange servers / Virtualization Knowledge of network infrastructure - Cisco/Arista switches, Citrix Netscaler and F5 load balancer Knowledge of Storage Infrastructure- SAN and NAS. Good understanding of PTP, NTP and DNS architecture Exposure to Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman Exposure cloud infrastructure will have an edge Effective usage of Microsoft Excel, Project and Visio for documentation and planning. Ability to code / query any programming language or RDBMS will be added advantage.
