Responsibilities:
Provide onsite technical support to trade floor. This includes but not limited to PC/monitors hardware, IPC Dealer boards, Microsoft Operating System, Office Suite, in-house business applications, third party software, Blackberry and other approved mobile devices, Collaboration tools such as MS Lync and Reuters Messaging, Market Data related products and Desktop Video Conferencing system.
Remediate and track all vulnerability threat for trade floor devices.
Provide desktop support for business’ technology contingency needs and support traders’ business continuity plan.
Handle technology related inventory management activities.
Act as point of contact for infrastructure requests/projects for Business (eg. internal restack, deployment, etc) and vendors for problem resolution on systems.
Coordinate with other IT disciplines (Networks, Distributed Computing, Customer Services Center, Messaging, etc) for service delivery where applicable.
Escalate errors/queries reported by users to Technology functional teams if unable to resolve the case in a timely manner.
Own and update documentation for all technical support processes.
Job Requirements:
3 to 4 years’ experience working in Desktop Support
Experience working in banking environment is an added advantage
Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Computer Studies or related field
Able to work staggered shifts between 7:00am and 7:00pm when required
