I am working with a global quant fund with presence across APAC, EMEA setting up their newest office in Singapore. This is a multi asset, multi strat systematic trading firm, seeking a strong and senior trade support to aid their trading activities day to day.

Duties

Level 1 support of trading infrastructure, exposure to any of the following: Manual and Algorithmic trading application/platforms, Exchange/FIX connectivity system, Risk/settlement systems)
Strong experience supporting on Windows & Linux
Making sure the equipment and platform are set up before the start of each trading day
Co-ordinate with developers, traders, management for issue resolution
Ad hoc maintenance and support of static databases and supporting processes
Tools development to continuously improve an ability to monitor the trading environment
If needed, Evening/weekend support requirements (through remote access)

Background:

Experience with Bash, Command Dos, Powershell or Python scripting experience is essential
Trading Floor support role within the FI industry
Strong windows desktop, Linux OS and server administration experience essential
Strong relational database skills (SQL, Postgres)
Exposure to market data feed handlers and execution feeds
Knowledge on algorithmic trading and traditional financial asset classes
Very strong English written and oral communication skills.
Experience of stakeholder expectation management, problem solving and business analytics.
Excellent problem solving and strong business analytics capabilities
