Transaction Processing Manager
  • Manage a team providing back office functions support for Equity Investment products for Corporate Action such as Proxy meetings/Stock splits, mergers, dividend payments.. Drive and manage projects and process enhancements initiatives with specific project/learning outcomes/UAT.
  • Monitor daily Nostro and Sundry accounts and its activities ensuring balance and prompt resolution of exception items.
  • Ensure all daily metrics are captured correctly and presented when required.
  • Ensure pristine control environment as measured by self-assessment results, internal and external audits, COB, Operational losses etc. Partner with country / regional O&T to ensure robust controls on an end to end basis.
  • Initiate work process improvements to enhance productivity or reduce cycle time and cost effectiveness, provide innovative solutions and design, test and plan digital strategy for operational processes in order to achieve automation of processes and STP while maintaining effective risk and control measures and compliance with Citi policies.
  • Timely escalations of key risk and control issues
  • Ensure that relevant procedures and deviations are accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and are reviewed and renewed periodically
  • Conduct periodic deep dive on key processes to ensure control robustness for these key processes
  • Timely handling of transactions, meeting and exceeding the Service expectation with internal clients such as Product Managers, Technology, Regional Operations, CBORC, etc.
  • Motivate, challenge the team and participate in Citi employee engagement activities.
  • Achieve good, positive VOE results.
  • Management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including management of people, performance evaluation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

  • Qualifications:
    • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 6-7 years of work experience in operations, with at least 2 years in managing a team handling processing for Wealth / Investment products
    • In-depth knowledge and experience of Trade settlements, Corporate actions for Equities and Equity Options
    • Good working attitude and strong communication skills both spoken and written
    • Driven responsible, organized and ability to multi-task.
    • Ability to partner with stakeholder groups to ensure seamless end-to-end processing and customer service
    • Presentation skills to Senior Management and stakeholders
    • The incumbent should be a dynamic, positive and resourceful individual.

  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree
