About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an Infrastructure Build Lead who is detail-oriented, to lead a team of Build Engineers to build, configure, test and commission application infrastructure in accordance to the Bank's standards. The Infrastructure Build Lead is proficient with Private Cloud, Public Cloud and Systems technologies such as VMware, OpenShift Container Platform, Virtual Desktops, VMware on AWS, RHEL and Windows. He/ She flourishes in high-pressure environments and has experience working in large matrix organizations.
Functionally reports to the Service Build Engineering Lead under Group Infrastructure Platform Services, the Infrastructure Build Lead will be responsible for supporting and managing the Infrastructure Build Team so that they can deliver the project and application infrastructure to internal project stakeholders and application delivery teams by the mutually agreed timelines.
As the Lead for Infrastructure Build, you will be responsible for:

• Plan, monitor and report progress of project and application infrastructure build to key stakeholders
• Support Infrastructure Build team to deliver project and application infrastructure to internal project stakeholders and application delivery teams by agreed schedules
• Being the resident expert in one or more areas related to infrastructure, provide in-depth analysis, escalation support, and insights into infrastructure build issues
• Ensure that we maintain optimum infrastructure capacity levels to operate our services, and planning/executing to meet project requirements
• Maintain infrastructure build standards, best practices and comply with the Bank's policies and standards
• Ensure smooth and successful transition of all projects and application infrastructure to Change and Run teams with proper documentation and knowledge transfer to support the business
• Sense of ownership and demonstrate strong responsibilities
• Continuously improve Infrastructure Build through optimization, automation, cost savings, technology adoption and operational efficiency
  

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
• 10 or more years of working experience and at least 3 years managing a team Project management skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Private Cloud, Public Cloud and Systems technologies such as VMware, OpenShift Container Platform, Virtual Desktops, VMware on AWS, RHEL, Windows Server, Oracle DB, MS SQL, Maria DB, network, SAN storage, Terraform, Chef and hardware technologies
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
