A top-tier Asian multi-strategy alternative investment manager is leveraging on its successful investment and capital raising track records in private credit strategy and expanding to the broader Asian regions. This role will be an expert in the asset class and instrumental in driving growth and distribution of their private credit fund and co-investments.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Strategize and raise institutional funds for Asia credit business
Understand investment rationale for various fund and co-investment deals, identify and track potential LPs and raise capital as appropriate
Contribute in finalizing fund and deal pitchbooks & marketing materials, and take the lead in formulating other bespoke pitch to LPs
Create new relationships and manage and strengthen existing LP relationships. Know the investment process and key decision makers for existing investors and build prefundraising relationships
Develop broader relationships in the industry with participants that are a source of market intelligence or partners, including other GPs, legal counsel, placement agents, conference organizers, industry media representatives
Facilitate the execution of fundraising projects. Participate in pre-marketing, launch timing and strategy, offering memorandum, due diligence, setting key commercial terms, legal documentation and closing(s).
Provide strategic advice on managing the overall fundraising or co-investment process, adjusting and responding in real time to the specific dynamics of each fundraise to maximize momentum and economic outcomes
REQUIREMENTS
8-15 years of experience and track records in investor relations or capital raising for alternative investments especially private credit strategy
Bachelor degree in business/ finance related discipline. Professional qualification like CAIA a plus
Existing LP relationships in Asia
Dynamic and strong stakeholder management
High proficiency in English. Other Asian language an advantage but not required
