Job Responsibilities

Be part of the project team to design functional solutions for Payment system functions, Integration with internal & External systems, and monitor implementation of the solutions.
Review current and legacy solutions and provide feasible target solutions considering existing limitations, including modernization of legacy payment application
Collaborate with internal Enterprise Architects, interfacing systems, service partners and product vendors
Prepare the journey landscape from AS-IS model to a Target Strategic landscape.
Propose different milestone landscape for step-by-step intermediate payment architecture view to meet the target landscape
Design and influence various market best practices deployed for payment landscape.
Study and analyse various transformation, influential projects impacting the Payment landscape
Provide detailed study of AS-IS landscape and the dependencies there of from Payment ecosystem perspective
Drive complex programs covering transformation roadmap, business case, TOM, Solution Design & IT delivery. Should have multi-country implementation exposure of Payments solutions at regional & global banks
Design highly critical system/application according to business expectations
Responsible for vendor product development to align on the proposed/agreed payment landscape
Implementation of strategic transformation projects in APAC region
Develop and present distinct and end-to-end functional solutions

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent with min. 10 years of experience in software development
8-10 years in designing solutions and implementing for web applications
Strong functional knowledge of back-office Payment Processing Systems / Payment Engines (Domestic, cross-border and Immediate Payments)
Experience designing functional solutions within Payment Systems and in integrating with external Interfaces
Experience in financial services sector and knowledge in payment, cash management, transaction banking, trade, or forex domain
Strong understanding of Payments industry global trends, regulatory and compliance initiatives
Proven track record and experience in managing complex projects in the financial services market
Strong understanding in enterprise scale solutions and experience in leading deep architecture design on functional solutions
Knowledge and hands-on experience in software development tools and methodologies
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Able to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
Presentation skills with high degree of comfort speaking with executive, IT management and developers
Knowledge and skills in DevOps, Java-based Web Application design & development and RDBMS especially Oracle Database
Knowledge and skills in application integration using REST, SOAP, MQ or file based
Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills
Creative, innovative team player able to convince all stakeholders and bridge differences
Highly enthusiastic, energetic, and has a self-starting capability
Adhered to process and tooling, and a systematic worker
Knowledge and understanding of technical architecture are a plus and should be able to provide solution architecture with underlying infra dependencies
Good in Visio / UML tools for architecture presentations
Solid knowledge of technology and payment domain flows
