VP / AVP, Technology Auditor, Application, Group Audit

Business Function

Group Audit helps the Board and Executive Management meet the strategic and operational objectives of the DBS Group. We conduct independent checks to ensure that the Group's risk and control processes are adequate and effective. All our team members are highly sought-after professionals who work as trusted advisors to our clients, in all matters related to a company's internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit plan considering the criticality of application, regulatory requirements and business objectives
• Conduct comprehensive audits of IT application, evaluate system related controls supporting the IT infrastructure and applications (e.g. services-oriented architectures, virtualized environments, software development)
• Develop testings to evaluate system related controls
• Analyze system logs, audit trails and other technical documentation to identify potential risks or vulnerabilities
• Define and execute audit tests using data analytic tools
• Provide clear, accurate and organized audit documentation of the audit processes and findings
• Participate in department related initiatives
• Coach and guide junior staff on all audit engagements

Requirements

• Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred
• Current professional certifications (eg. CISA, CISSP) preferred
• Minimally with 6-7 years of experience in IT auditing, application support and development, application security or related roles
• General understanding of overall banking business
• Transactional application solutioning, development and production support and troubleshooting
• Cloud computing technology
• Docker/containerisation technology
• API technology
• Strong understanding processes that are essential in supporting continuous delivery, integration, automated testing, and performance monitoring
• Good communication skills - spoken and written
• Good project management and organisation skill
• Ability to work with all levels of management and staff; must have strong organisation skills and is performance oriented
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments and multiple teams simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and deliver on commitments
• Ability and willingness to take initiative to address problems and make continuous process improvements
