Senior Capital Manager / Group Insurance Officer

YOUR CHALLENGE
The Senior Capital Manager and Group Insurance Officer is a key role in Julius Baer Group. The role holder is responsible for the execution of the Group's capital transactions, the liquidity of the top holding and the insurance coverage of the Group wide programs. In particular the role holder is responsible for the following tasks:
  • Leading the planning and execution of external and internal capital (including hybrid capital) and funding transactions of Julius Baer Group including group-internal guarantees
  • Evaluation and potentially execution of risk transfer transactions and asset backed funding transactions
  • Ensuring the liquidity of the top holding of the Group
  • Management of Group insurance policies with a focus on the financial lines in cooperation with an insurance broker
  • Management of employee DBO schemes (outside of Switzerland) in cooperation with insurance broker
  • Maintenance of commercial relationship with rating agencies. Acting as deputy regarding rating agency relations and respective support regarding capital market specific questions
  • Management of the relationship with the Group's key investment banks

REQUIREMENTS
  • University degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or in a capital markets department of an investment bank
  • Good knowledge in IFRS and capital market related tax issues is a plus
  • Proven experience in delivering high quality results to stringent deadlines through strict process management
  • Fluency in English and German, any other language skill is a plus
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • High social competence paired with excellent communication skills
  • Hands on, solution and delivery oriented mind-set
