Team Head - Sanctions Operations

For one of our long-standing clients, a leading Swiss financial institution in Zurich, Swisslinx is looking for a Team Head to join the Sanctions Operations department. In this intriguing challenge you would be responsible for leading a mind-sized team dedicated to the compliance of banking operations regarding sanctions and market regulations.

Your Responsibilities:
- Leading an international and diverse team by managing and allocating the resources efficiently
- Ensuring the implementation of the daily business in compliance with quality and legal regulations
- Responsibility for the review and handling of transaction alerts and monitoring of the resulting results
- Lead and support on various projects within the department
- Collaboration in the expansion and maintenance as well as strategic development of the necessary applications
- Work closely with internal stakeholders from compliance, legal and front office

Your Profile:
- 1-2 years' experience in leading a team within operations, back office, compliance or risk management in the finance sector
- Strong ability to allocate and manage resources, delegate tasks and responsibilities as well as develop and train team members
- Experience in compliance, sanctions handling and/or SWIFT messaging would be a plus
- Full fluency in German and English
- Team player with a strong passion for continuous development
- Solution-oriented and independent work ethic
